This week's adventures...

I'm going to start taking pictures of the projects we do during the day so I can look back for ideas later ;-) Plus, I'll remember when we did it for when I eventually get to this stage in the girls' scrapbooks.

Here was our project this morning. I cut out the shapes for the tree and house and cut cottonballs in half because they were too big I thought. The kids helped me put glue around the page and they put the house, tree, and cottonballs on to complete our snow scene.

Here are the girls before bed the other night. Taylor pulled these stencils out of our activity drawers and thought Hailey wanted to play with them. She thought they were pretty cool to chew on anyway. A change of pace.

In other news, my daycare has been a lot of fun so far. The 2 year old boy is here M,T,Th & F so he and Taylor have been having a blast. We've also had some drop-ins every now and then that have been mixing it up a bit. Everyone gets along great, besides the normal sharing problems with each of them every now and then but that's expected. I've got a schedule going now, so we're reading, coloring, and doing at least one learning project every day. It makes the days run smoothly. Plus, we're getting our meals, snacks & naps on somewhat of a schedule.. although I like to leave room there since kids aren't expected to be hungry and tired at the exact same time every day.
We're looking forward to welcoming an addition to the daycare in a couple of months! We'll have a baby boy joining us! Small world, I was responding to some ads on craig's list and turns out to be the mom of a little girl Taylor went to daycare with.
Hope all is well with all of you and you're having a good new year!
