Taylor's Pony Photoshoot

These pictures are of Taylor this morning with her first official big-girl pony tail! Her hair has been coming in like crazy lately. I'm sure it might've been able to go up before, but this is the first time I've tried. Didn't even have to get it wet :) I can't believe how fast our little girl is growing up. It makes her look so much older!

GIRL! She was cuddled up in a ball for the longest time, but she finally showed herself! We are very excited that Taylor is going to have a little sister, and also very glad we will be able to re-use all of her clothes again since it's going to be the same season. I was kind of worried because this baby hardly moves at all, and I haven't felt her kick yet hardly as much as I had Taylor by now. But, the doctor said all of her parts are functioning beautifully and she looks very healthy. She was measuring right on 18 wks 6 days, so my due date remains May 16th. Here are a couple pictures.

We are having our big ultrasound on Wednesday at 9:00am, so we are taking guesses now on whether we are having a boy or a girl. Here is a belly pic from this afternoon if anyone needs a visual. :)

TGIF!

Yeah, it's Friday!! Finally! I am so glad. This week has been so busy at work and just stressful altogether. I have been dealing with my bosses offering and counteroffering me things to get me to stay after the baby comes. I've been stressed out about that, and every time I wake up at night it takes me forever to get back to sleep because I start thinking about it! I really want to be able to stay home, and if they don't really make it worth my while then I'm going to stay home and do daycare. We'll see, they gave me another offer and I'm going to think about it long and hard.

On another note, tonight we are going to a hotel in Appleton! The Comfort Suites. Yeah! :) I need a little relaxation time, so it'll be nice. We cancelled our snowmobile trip up north next week, so we decided to do this. I had a gift certificate from my work (given months ago) and need to use it soon anyway. The guys will still snowmobile next weekend, just around here and a couple hours away. Tomorrow we are enjoying the hotel until we get kicked out, then grocery shopping and baking cookies. Ben and Jr are going hunting. Hope everyone has a good weekend, sorry I haven't taken any pictures this week. I'm bad, I know!

Can you say MONDAY?

Wow, it has been an awful Monday here.. a royal Monday so we call it. I hate MONDAYS! Especially today. Sorry, it's been a rough one. We are a small business as it is and only have about 6 people in the office every day. Well, 3 of them are gone today and it's been so busy, and another one of them likes to talk on his cell phone non-stop. Plus, I think I'm just tired from the weekend. I never unpacked last night, so I'll have to do that and make some kind of supper but then I am doing nothing else! (besides play with Taylor of course :) Hope everyone else's Monday is going better than mine. I am so looking forward to the next couple of weeks. I only have to work the second half of Wednesday next week (have our ultrasound in the a.m. YEAH), then I'm off Thursday. Then I'm off 12/24 and 12/25, 12/31 and 1/1. CAN'T WAIT :)

Weekend at Grandma & Grandpa M's

We had a fun weekend at my parents in Twin Lakes. Saturday morning we played in the snow (got face planted off the sled :-/) and got a visit from my cousin Lisa and her daughter Kaidynn, who live nearby. Then, we went over to Tim & Mel's for Megan's 3rd birthday party. Megan, Madi, Taylor, and Daryn had fun playing together and taking turn with their mood swings and tantrums :P Must be a girl thing. Taylor's 18 Month Photoshoot

This is the picture we are using for our picture cards this season. Taylor turned 18 months old on Sunday, December 2nd. Can you believe it?! Time sure does fly by. I'm sure we'll be saying that again soon when she has a new little brother or sister running around after her!

Taylor is very photogenic, but lately she wants to take the pictures herself. So, to make a long story short, it's getting a lot harder to get her to sit still for pictures.

Also, Taylor LOVES dresses lately! She can not wear them enough. She likes skirts OK, but dresses are where it's at. When I put this dress on her for pictures, it took me almost 3 hours to convince her that she should put her pajamas on instead. We were having a lazy day at home anyway, so I let her play in it awhile. It is her special meeting dress, so I didn't want it getting ripped or stained before then. Oh, the joys of being a girl :)
