Aiden is 7 months old!

Our baby is 7 months old today!

Seems like just yesterday I said I wish he would start sitting better, eating better, and being a little more independent.. well, now he's suddenly sitting, eating, crawling and getting teeth and jabbering like crazy!

Slow down already, baby! :)

Aiden's Crawling & Haircut!!

I took Aiden to a children's haircut place on Saturday for his first professional haircut, and I think it turned out pretty cute :) I give the lady credit for not giving him any bald spots since he was wiggling so much!

It's still kinda long for now because I wanted to style it, but maybe we'll buzz it in the summertime.. we'll see.

The kids were playing pollies before mtg this morning and Aiden had to be the prince!

This is a rare feat lately, actually getting a picture of Hailey semi-smiling for the camera!

Aiden has been big stuff lately sitting by himself for long periods of time, slow-motion crawling everywhere and he's cutting all kinds of teeth!  The two bottom front ones are all the way through and he's working on at least 2-3 more (one on bottom and the top ones are going to poke through any day now)

And I can't forget.. He's starting to call for MAMA :) "Mem.. Mom.. Memme, Mama", you name it.. they all come out when he's mad usually :) lol

This was my first attempt at a crown braid and turned out pretty cute on little Princess Hailey

but Mommy's not quite ready to give him another one yet... maybe soon but we're not going super short this time.

Packers, Hairstyles & Mall Park

This is Aiden's new hat from Grandma M :)

 He sure looks like a winner, doesn't he? And the green & gold just makes it more so, lol

I've been trying out new hairstyles that I found on the "Hairstyles for Girls" link I have on the right side of my blog.  This is a 3D braid, pretty neat but took a little practice! looks like a square where you can see a braid at every angle.

This one on Taylor can use some more practice too, but it turned out neat I think. It's called a Twisty ponytail. I need to figure out something else to do with the front/sides to make it hold all day. Didn't hold up well on a little girl playing around.

I like this little twisted braid to hold back the front, with a cute new pony holder.

Grandpa & Grandma M came up this weekend and we had fun with them playing at the mall park!

Aiden thought it was pretty cool that he got to go on the toys now :)

and the girls enjoyed it as well! 

Aiden shared a little coffee with Grandma and didn't want to give up that straw!

and Taylor wanted to ride Grandpa horsey throughout the house!

Another nice weekend here and gone and looks like Fall weather may finally kick in full gear after today so think we'll try and enjoy one more beautiful day outside!

Swings & Hairdos

This is Aiden's new favorite pose, butt in the air! :) It gets him where he wants to be so whatever works.

We went outside for awhile the other day to watch the kids play and snuggled on the lawn chair.

I replaced one of the big swings with this baby swing I picked up at a garage sale a few years back, fits perfect and he loves it!

I tried this new hairdo yesterday. I saw something similar on a little girl at school so had to give it a whirl! Turned out pretty cute I must say :)

tried it on both girls, stayed better in Taylor's hair. Will try some gel or soaking wet hair next time for Hailey.

Taylor thinks this shirt is not cute, so this is the ONLY time she says she will wear it to make me happy! LOL.  Goofy girl.  She kept closing her eyes while I was trying to take this picture, that's why she has a funny look on her face here.. focused on trying to keep them open!

English & Spanish Calendar

I am very impressed with Taylor lately. She is learning Spanish and Japanese along with a million other things every day at school.  Here is the latest song she's got stuck in my head :) and now Hailey's singing along sometimes too!   The first round is in English and the second in Spanish.

Pumpkin farm and Monkey Joe's

Taylor had her first field trip last week at Mulberry Lane Farm and despite some windy, chilly weather she had a great time with her friends!

They all even tried milking a cow

The kids had lots of fun at the pumpkin patch and Hailey loved this little bench in the barn :)

The girls were so excited to go to Monkey Joe's the other day, since we had a coupon and hadn't been in a long time.

Now they want to go back again soon of course. A good activity for a chilly day!  Aiden even had fun :)
