Taylor's First Fish!

Taylor caught her first fish (white bass) in the Wolf River on Tuesday! Her daddy took her fishing with Papa after work and she was super excited!

The rest of these fishing pictures are from last Saturday when we went out on Papa's boat in the afternoon for a few hours. Not a lot of catching going on, but it was still fun!

Taylor & Hailey loved reeling in their fishing poles! Taylor's had real bait and Hailey's had a little yellow plastic fish on it :)

Hailey watching a northern get pulled in (and thrown promptly back, ew!)

Hailey was pooped. We found some shade behind the tackle box right after this pic was taken.

Taylor thought it was cool to pet the fish and even look inside its mouth, yuck!

Loving fishing with their Daddy!

Driving Papa's boat as we were slowly floating while Ben tried to lose his last minnow.

Shrine Circus and Jeffersen Park

Ben's sister Shelley gave us some buy 1 get 1 free tickets to the Shrine Circus in Oshkosh Tuesday night so we headed out hoping for a fun time. It was pretty cool, but not as cool as we thought it would be! The girls still loved it and thought it was super great :)

Daddy & Taylor waiting for the show to start! (Ben kinda looks goofy-eyed in this picture, lol)

The girls!

The show started with the Tigers, pretty neat and very well trained!

This lady moved in ways that are just wrong, but she had a pretty good shot shooting a bow and arrow upside down with her feet at a balloon!

These dogs were hilarious as they slid down that tube slide!

Taylor got her pony ride at intermission!

Daddy & Hailey watching Taylor ride the pony from the bleachers (saving our seats!)

The girls thought the hula hoop ladies were awesome

and of course these multi-colored ponies!

We all thought the elephants were the best part at the end.

The girls, dc boy and I headed to Jeffersen park today to check out the playground next to the pool. We've never played there before so it was lots of fun. They had a blast throwing stones in the lake and watching the geese and ducks swimming around. It's a nice park, and I'm sure we'll be spending lots of Wednesdays there this summer! (and nights at the pool there when Daddy gets home from work)

Taylor & Hailey's Birthday Party

We had a birthday party with family this weekend to celebrate Hailey's 2nd and Taylor's 4th birthdays!

We bought the girls a sandbox as part of their present and they love it! Grandpa helped them break it in on Saturday. Taylor had sand in every nook and cranny, lol!

Grandma made Taylor polka dot cupcakes with white chocolate cream cheese frosting (yummy) and Hailey a Dora cake because that's what they requested!

Taylor got this Dora mask at the party store and thinks it's pretty hilarious, which it is!

Singing happy birthday to the girls!

Playing with the noise makers after the party was over. They had so much fun with them, who needed to buy presents? haa

Ballarina skirt from Auntie Shelley and jammies from Grandma & Grandpa P, Taylor was ready for bed!

Thanks for all the help and all the fun!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Hailey Anna!

It's Hailey's 2nd birthday already today!! Who knew this tiny little girl would be the strongest person I know! We love you so much Hailey!

2 years!!
I can't believe how much she's changed. Looking back at her newborn pics now I really think she looked a lot like Ben, then Grandpa, Grandma, and now me as a little girl. She sure is her own person, so maybe she will take the best parts of all of us :)

Happy Birthday Jr!

It's Jr's 62nd birthday today so we met Grandpa & Grandma and Auntie Shelley at Chili's last night for a birthday dinner.
Taylor helped Grandpa eat his ice cream

and posed for some clown pictures, LOL

Posing with Grandma too

One good thing from Ben working so much lately is that we can afford a few things that we've been waiting to buy.. such as Taylor's new car seat that grows with her now until she doesn't need one anymore. She loves it! Especially because it is pink! (I wanted to get the black one but she loved this one so much)

and Hailey wanted her picture taken in her car seat too :)
