Another weekend gone...

Saturday morning, the girls and I wandered around Menasha and Darboy at some rummage sales. Then, we met Shelley & Mar at Ron & Jeanine's to go swimming. (They were gone at the Dells and gave permission)



Hailey thought the water was too cold, so she stayed ashore most of the time.



Taylor motored around in these two boats the whole time.. her little legs must be so strong!




Ben and Keith came and swam a little bit before going to the races Saturday night. We ended up sleeping at Mar & Jr's, as they didn't get home very early at all. Hope your weekend was great too!

Our princesses today...

Here are our little princesses today. We found this Cinderella dress at a garage sale this morning for $1. It's way too big so I pulled it together in the back and tied it.. to say Taylor LOVES it would be an understatement. I love this little Gymboree romper of Hailey's. Too cute.

Happy Birthday Logan! Last Night...

We went over to Justin & Heather's last night for some more birthday ice cream cake on Logan's actual birthday. It was delicious and a fun night.



Everyone was clapping to get Logan to look at the camera and Taylor thought it was great...



I don't know if I've actually gotten a picture of the two of them together before now...



Taylor loved Karen's shoes, and she had the cutest shake of the hips to go along with the walk...



This is what Hailey did most of the night. She was pooped.

This week's update..

I'm seriously lacking in posting this week again. Here is our week so far.



These are some pictures from Saturday morning. "I love my Diego," said Taylor. Hailey was watching Daddy play baseball for a few minutes while I got dressed for Logan's party.



I didn't have my camera on me until we went to the park, so this is the only picture I got at Logan's party. The girls had fun, though it was extremely hot. So, they didn't get to play too long at the park.



Here are the girls on Sunday. (Grandma's don't print this- because I already printed it for you and it's in the mail)



This is the hail we got last night. It was raining buckets for about 20 minutes, literally a river going down our street. Glad it stopped or we would've had water in the basement for sure. Taylor did not like this storm, it was a loud one.

Matching..

Here are the girls before meeting tonight in their matching shirts from Alaska and the skirts I bought right before Hailey was born. Unfortunately, Hailey's outfit didn't make it all the way through meeting as she had a nasty diaper. Oh well, we tried. It was cute while it lasted.

2 Month Dr Checkup

Hailey's 2 month checkup went pretty well. She is 11.5 lbs and about 22 in long. Dr still hears her heart murmur but we go in July 31st for another echo to see if it's better than last time. She had 3 shots and an oral vaccine today, which of course didn't go over too well. She like the taste of the oral one though. Dr said her rash is just a baby rash, not anything that's going to last or to worry about. She doesn't think it's baby acne or eczema. Probably just dry skin. We're to put 1% hydrocortisone on it twice a day and use a dandruff shampoo on her hair and face to moisturize it and make the rash go away. Something I've never heard but I guess it makes sense. Overall she was happy with how Hailey's growing and acting. Said she's ahead for her age.

Two Months Old!

Hard to believe our little Hailey is two months old already! We go in tomorrow for her 2 month checkup and shots. Not sure if they'll give her the shots or not as she has kind of a bad rash on her face right now, we'll see. I'll post the findings tomorrow.

Saturday playing with Kylie

We had a fun day at the park today with Kylie, Karena, Shanda, Sharon & Grandma in Plover. The girls played on the jungle gym, in the sand, ate snacks, played at McDonalds, Shopko, and Ihop. It was a fun overall day, while the Grandma's tended to the babies :) I love that last picture of them wrapping them up to stay warm. It was a warm day but kind of breezy, so it kept cool. Taylor had so much fun with Kylie; they might get to play again tomorrow at Grandpa & Grandma Topinka's if we go over for Great-Grandpa's birthday.

Bumbo

She's trying so hard to sit up in the bumbo chair. She likes to be able to watch her sister. Taylor was trying to get something in the kitchen so I left Hailey for 2 seconds to help her and I was watching Hailey's little head go back and forth while sitting in this chair looking for us.. it was priceless, wish I had the video camera on.

Hailey had such a good nap this morning and woke up so happy, had to take a picture of course.

Update

Sorry I haven't posted anymore all week. I should have some more pictures by tomorrow night. We are planning on doing something with Mar, Sharon, Shanda & girls so should be fun! Ben's working for Keith and their guys are going to the Iola Car Show.

Here's how my first week at work went. I just work 3 days a week right now so that is always a faster week.

Monday was stressful of course.. catching up on everything and Hailey didn't eat for the babysitter AT ALL! Monday night I slept with one of Hailey's blankets to make it smell like me in hopes it would help.

Tuesday was calm at work and Hailey took 2 little bottles from the sitter.

Wednesday was busy at work again and Hailey took 3 bottles from the sitter. I think Hailey just needed to get to know her sitter and the blanket probably helped too.

Thursday I was off so did some cleaning in the morning, then went and walked around the mall before the stores really opened. Taylor played on the play area in the food court for a long time and was hungry so she had a cheeseburger. I was looking for some t-shirts because mine really don't fit well so we went to Old Navy. Didn't fall in love with anything there so Mel suggested Gordmans. I got the girls out of the van then realize I left the bag in there, but I couldn't catch the door in time. So, my keys got locked in the car! What a pain, but good thing Ben wasn't working too far away. We played with all the toys in Gordmans and watched cartoons until he came to our rescue. I was just glad nobody got a poopy diaper and Taylor had already eaten.

Hailey still has a heat rash all over her face, any suggestions to make it go away?
Somebody on my baby club mentioned hydrocotisone 1% over the counter, but I'll probably ask my dr first before trying anything like that. She has a dr appt on Monday for her first shots :( Not looking forward to that of course. I need to call them today anyway to see how much tylenol I should give her before we go in. I always gave Taylor some before her shots to keep the fever at bay.

Here are the girls this morning. Hailey's still sleeping and Taylor's eating breakfast in bed - only Mommy's bed instead of her own. I let her because it's just dry cereal (what she wanted so I didn't complain) That's Tomy a Thomas train she's holding. She got to buy it at Gordmans because she was a such a good girl while we waited.

Our weekend

Hailey was on a hunger strike today at the babysitter's... any suggestions to get her to take the bottle from her would be welcome. She's taken it from me and Ben.

We had a fun weekend with Mom and Dad, Mar and Jr, Tim and Mel & girls, Shelley & Keith to name a few at some point through the several days. The guys were working on our garage a lot of the time.

We went to Menasha pool Saturday afternoon for a cool down. Taylor LOVED the big slide. We must've walked up those stairs 15 times at least. It was pretty fun.
