Popsicles and splashing in our pool!

The girls were loving some popsicles Saturday afternoon. Go here to see a funny video of them! I tried to upload here but wouldn't work for me today!

Check out our red tongues!!

We met Grandma & Papa P at the mall the other night and the girls came home with a new ice cream play-doh set :) They had lots of fun with it this morning!

Taylor's making chocolate ice cream and Hailey's adding sprinkles!

We also played in our splash pool this morning since it was so hot today. The kids always have so much fun in there.

Hope everyone's having a good week! Everything's going ok over here. I have a spell of morning sickness every now and then but am doing ok overall. Better. I have been seriously craving vegetables.. especially fried ones or baked with butter and sugar or parmesan cheese! I guess there could be worse cravings. :) My next dr appointment is next Wednesday the 8th where they will try to hear the heartbeat for the first time. I will be 10 weeks then. We are nervous and excited at the same time!

One last swim at Menasha Pool

The pool is now closed for the season, but we enjoyed one last swim there for the year!
Hailey really wants to use her floaties but has a little practicing to do!

Taylor is a little fish and will be swimming in no time! We haven't gotten her lessens yet but if she doesn't catch on by next summer, we will take her.

There was lots more pictures of sliding since the girls wanted to keep going and going!

Taylor says,"Look! I'm flying!"

Grandma had fun too :)

Snacktime

Cute little fishy in her goggles :)

Walking back from the slide one last time with Papa

Of course Hailey had to try on the goggles too and wants some of her own.

Hailey was pooped... as were we all.

We're Expecting!!

We all got together last night to celebrate Grandma P's birthday, so it was the perfect time to share the news! These are pictures of the grandmas reading the following poem and realizing the big news...

"I do not have a face to see, or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss; I don't yet have a name.
You cannot hold my tiny hands, nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song, or cuddle me so near.
But all will change come April, when they say I'm due.
I'm your new grandchild; I can't wait 'til I meet you.
All I ask between now and then is your patience while I grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait, because of the love we'll know.
So as you're waiting patiently, Please pray lots of prayers for me.
I cannot wait to be a part of this awesome family!"

Yes, Ben and I are excited to announce that we are expecting another bundle of joy around April 6th! I am about 7.5 weeks along and have been pretty sick. I guess every virus and bug decided to attack my immune system while it was down because I got a stomach virus and then strep throat. I was on penicillin which aggrevated my morning sickness but now I'm finally done with the medicine! Today was better! I'm not complaining!

Here are a couple pictures of the birthday Grandma with her little girls.

Mrnak Reunion & Lake County Fair

We had a Mrnak family reunion (first one in a long long time) this past weekend down in IL, so it was great to see everyone and a beautiful day.

This picture is my Dad's three brothers: Steve, Tom & Ken and the one in the middle is my Uncle Joe who is actually Dad's cousin (his mom and Dad's dad were twins)

This is everyone at the reunion

The cousins: top row- Tim, Jeff, Ashlei, Kim, Dave - Bottom row: me, Lisa, Kevin & Joe. Just missing Jon & Becka

Dad's brother Tom & his two boys Dave & Joey with Dad

Uncle Joe and Aunt Suzi with their grandbaby Brynn (Lisa's youngest daughter)

The little cousins: Hailey, Tyler, Shelby, Megan, Mik, Dylan, Kaidynn, Brynn, Madi & Taylor

The kids loved playing with the ladder ball game most of the afternoon.

Tyler hanging out on Grandma

Hailey loving some lemonade

We got to go to the Lake County Fair as well and Taylor even got to ride the ferris wheel for the first time. She did great and loved it!

The goats were a big hit

This one Taylor is crouching by is Jordann's champion goat Krista - a baby from one of my old goats. Hailey loved the nubian (long ears) :)

Jordann showed the girls how the goats were milked so they posed on the milkstand.

The girls did so good with all the animals in the petting zoo.

and had some delicious chocolate ice cream to cool us off! (along with lots of other yummy fair food of course!)
