Hailey's First Real Bath

She loved it!

Taylor wants Hailey to play with her all the time. So, this usually means sitting next to her and tickling her feet. It was so hot today, so I opened all the windows. Think we'll go play outside for awhile. Our neighbors are being really loud out there though, as they are moving.

2 week dr appt

Hailey had her 2.5 week checkup today.. she is 8 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches! She's growing like a weed. She's in t he 50% now, instead of the 25th like when she was born. Dr still hears the murmur but says it's still getting louder which she thinks is a good thing since it probably means it's getting smaller. More later... crying baby and whiney little girl right now.

***Updated ** Sorry, Taylor's teeth are really bugging her today. I just checked Taylor's health book and she was 8 lbs 6 oz at 2 weeks 4 days and 20.5 inches.. so I guess Hailey wasn't the only eater as a newborn. Taylor started slowing down in her growing around 2-4 months, so we'll see if that's the case with Hailey. Hopefully all is well with the murmur, but we won't know for sure until her echo on June 19th. We go in every Thursday the next 2 weeks just for growth checks, then in 3 weeks is her echo.

Also, tried the swing today for the first time and Hailey really likes it. Hopefully she keeps liking it and I can get a few things done for Taylor's bday party.

We went to Great Grandpa & Grandma's house on Monday and Grandma got some extra cuddle time in.



This is Taylor tonight in her big girl bed. She started sleeping in it Saturday night and she loves it! Can you tell? (Also, the cute jammies are from Great Grandma Wilson - thanks!)

This was my attempt this morning to get a picture of Taylor for her 2nd birthday. She was not cooperating very well. I had a couple really cute ones on the couch but they turned out blurry - poo. Which one do you like best for her 2nd birthday picture, although I may try again later?

It worked!

Well, I deleted all of the pictures on my camera (after making sure they were all uploaded) and put in new batteries and it seems to be working now. Cross your fingers. Here's my test shot.

1 week Dr Appt

I brought Hailey in for a 1 week checkup, as we'll be going every week until her next echo (June 19) to make sure she's growing well. She is growing very well and everything about her is very healthy. She weighed in at 7 lbs 4 oz this morning, 19 1/4 in, and 35 cm head so growth all around. The dr was happy. She said her murmur actually sounded a little louder, which would be a good thing as the smaller the holes get the more they echo off the rest of the heart - or something like that. Anyways, we go in next Thursday for another growth check.

My camera is acting weird so if I figure out how to fix it I'll post some more pictures! Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers.

Tim, Mel, Megan & Madi came to visit yesterday. The girls had a lot of fun and Taylor is still asleep at 8 am to prove it! :) I cannot take enough pictures of this little girl, she's too darn cute.
