A Day at the Beach

We had a fun day at the beach on Saturday. Taylor and Ben scoping it out before it opened. It was kind of cold and looked like a storm when we got there but cleared up beautifully!

"Swimming"

Taylor had fun "swimming" in her little tiny pool today, and Hailey had fun watching in the shade. She did like putting her feet in a little bit, and when Daddy got home Mommy swam too. lol

Hailey's First Bottle

Hailey took her first bottle from Ben last night with just a few minutes of crying beforehand. I think Taylor cried for 30-45 minutes before taking any her first time. Hailey only took about an ounce or so before giving up and crying, but we'll try again tonight until she gets the hang of it. I go back to work in less than 2 weeks and don't want Julie to have to teach her how to drink from a bottle.

This second picture is of Taylor reading Hailey a book yesterday. Yes, Hailey was mistaken for a boy a couple times yesterday due to the fact she was wearing a blue sleeper. What can I say, I didn't do laundry yet and all of her other ones were dirty. I just try to confuse people.

Another weekend gone...

We had a fun weekend at Grandpa & Grandma P's house. We went to Ryan Papendorf's graduation party on Saturday in Wausau, and Taylor played at the park most of the day there. It was a beautiful day, hot in the sun, cool in the shade. We were all pooped by the end of it. I tried to get Hailey's smile on camera today, but I just caught the tail end of one. I'll keep trying! She has the biggest, cutest smile! Off to grocery shop as our refrigerator/cupboards are pretty bare and Taylor's napping.

Thursday

Jr came over last night to help Ben with a couple things. Taylor was "helping" in the basement as well. It was such a beautiful day. My morning glories are finally starting to climb.. barely. Not sure what the yellow flowers are, but they are from some of Mar's transplants earlier this year.

Hailey's heart update

Just a quick update on Hailey's heart murmur. She had a follow-up echo ultrasound on her heart today and it showed the blood moving faster through the murmur, meaning it's getting smaller. It wasn't much smaller but it's not growing so that's the main thing! We go back in 6 weeks (July 31st) for another echo to monitor it. The dr was happy with the progress and very happy with her health otherwise. Thanks for everyone's concern and keep her in your thoughts please! We're not out of the surgery scare just yet...
