3.5 weeks

Aiden is 3.5 weeks olds, yikes.  Where does the time go? He's doing great, although he is somewhat of a night owl.  He doesn't stay up late so much as he just likes to be up for long periods of time in the middle of the night.. not every night but at least every other night it seems, and usually weekdays unfortunately.  We'll get on a schedule yet.. someday here hopefully.

He is definately a little snuggly boy.
Bathtime for everyone! The girls thought this was pretty fun, watching him bathe while they did.
Cute little boy in his bathtub
Playing with his chameleon.. more staring at it than anything but he reaches for it and loves the colors I'm thinking

Time is flying...

I can't believe this little guy is already 2.5 weeks old
This little outfit was from his Uncle Tim and Auntie Mel, and it makes him look so big!
 love the space jammies
Aiden had to dress up for special mtg on Sunday :) This shirt was only $5 on sale so I couldn't resist
Too bad they both have their eyes closed but cute anyways Sunday morning
Here are the 3 kiddos quick while running out the door
Aiden kind of likes these gum drop pacifiers so I picked up a couple different colors, right now he's only taking them in the car.. which is helpful
chatting with my biggest sissy this morning
hanging out with my mom in the early hours
this dc boy loves Aiden like a little brother already, so concerned and too sweet
kisses from my little big sissy :)

Update

Everything is going well with us. It's been a little exhausting, especially those nights Aiden thinks it's daytime but overall going good!  The girls are such good helpers and love their brother like crazy.  We sure wish the nice weather would've stayed, we've gone back to winter this week... at least it's not snowing (knock on wood!)  So, we've just been laying low for the most part and enjoying the last few days before the daycare kids come back.  I did head out the other day for the first time alone with all 3 kids. We hit the McDonald's play park, the post office, and the library.  The girls were so well-behaved and Aiden slept most of the time in his carseat so I couldn't have asked for a better first outing.  Here are some more pictures from earlier this week.

Aiden is already reaching for people and grabbing at his sissy's face when she lays next to him.
How can you resist this sweet little face?
Hailey can't resist him, she's always snuggling and kissing him... like the rest of us.
Grandma P came over and spent the day playing with the girls which was much appreciated!
Aiden snuggled in his sling Grandma M made for him at the park and loved it!
Hailey loved the swing but not too high!
Taylor is quite the daredevil, climbing and standing high on everything she could.
Sleepy boy.

Picture update

The last week and a half has flown by as we've been enjoying some time just as a family. Ben had a few days off last week then the girls and I have just been playing and relaxing.. healing.. etc. I'll start daycare again next week, so going to hope for nice weather this week so we can fully enjoy it. Aiden is doing great, growing too fast already! I am doing well too, as long as I don't overdo it. Anyways, here are some pictures from the last week!

"Daddy, is it game time yet?"

The girls were so happy to have some nice weather to play outside and use some new sidewalk chalk.

Aiden and Hailey were both napping next to me one day, then I got up and they snuggled right in together, too cute.

Taylor loves to hold Aiden, he has such good big sisters.

Blowing bubbles Saturday

 So much fun!

Playing in the sandbox! need to buy more sand, somehow it always gets all over the yard instead of staying in the box :P

Taylor loves Cooper, but not as much as he loves her!

Too many pictures to post...

I've been trying to keep up with pictures but there are just too many, I'd be here all day posting, but here are a few. There are more on facebook since it's faster to post there. We've all been doing well, just adjusting to nighttime feedings and etc of course. Milk is in so baby boy is happy and soaking his pants like crazy, so we are moving right up to size 1's to avoid overflow! lol. Still happening but not as much. Here's Daddy & Aiden escaping from the hospital late Friday night. Mommy and her cute little monkey butt boy :) The girls sure love their baby brother and are big helpers! Tim and Mel and the kids brought supper over Saturday afternoon, thanks again! So, we tried for a new grandkids picture with Grandma & Grandpa, turned out pretty good! 6 kids 6 and under.. We are so lucky to have such a great family :) Feeling super blessed!

The girls love reading to their brother and showing him lots of neat toys he can play with soon!

We go in this afternoon for Aiden's first pediatric check out of the hospital. We went back on Sunday for a jaundice and weight check. He was way below the scale for jaundice and down to 7 lbs 15 oz. I'm sure he'll be back up or over his birth weight today. He eats like a champ. That's all for now!

**Edited~ Aiden's checkup went great. He is up to 8 lbs 7 oz and dr says he is looking great. No heart murmers or anything abnormal.. woo hoo! :) We go back on May 11th for his next checkup and Hailey's 3 year checkup.. no shots until he's 2 months.
