Silly faces & Sidewalk Chalk

Yes, these are our children. We don't deny them because they are goofy, LOL, we just love them more :)

It was a nice afternoon so we played with our new sidewalk chalk/paint! The girls had so much fun painting and making rainbows, circles, piano keys (that's what all the stripes are on the rocks :) etc...

They loved the glasses that came with the kit too!

And, this is the lake we came out to in part of the parking lot after we bday shopped at the mall tonight! It was hailing so hard and raining so strong it was bouncing at least 2 ft off the pavement. We were watching out the doors at Target. Crazy!

Spending Time with Auntie Kristin

My sister-in-law Kristin (Jon's wife) is in town (southern WI) for a visit so we spent the weekend at my parents again. It was so nice to spend some time with her and the girls loved it too! We spent some time at Lake Geneva Beach again Saturday then a family afternoon Sunday with Tim & Mel and kids and my dad's brother Tom, wife Jackie & son Joe.

They collected shells for a long time and played in the water a ton. It was a beautiful morning for the beach! They were giving them to Grandma in this little bucket.

The guys also snorkeled a bunch and said they saw some big bass.


Auntie Kristin's doggies were so good and got lots of attention!

Our Little Tigers

The girls were coloring so nicely at the kitchen table with some new markers we just bought at Michaels. Mommy went down to the basement to get laundry and was gone less than 5 minutes. Ta da!! The girls both had stripes down there arms and legs and Hailey even colored on the bottom of her feet! "But Mommy, we just wanted to be tigers!!" Taylor said. lol, it was hard to be mad because I couldn't stop laughing. Taylor started crying right away when I saw them and Hailey thought it was hilarious!!

And this last pic is just a random one from Britney's bday party of Taylor swimming in their pool. It's off-center I know, but I love her expression.

4th of July Wknd

We went down to my parents to celebrate Dad and Ben's birthdays over the 4th of July weekend. We had so much fun at Lake Geneva Beach on Saturday. Tim & Mel, Megan, Madi & Tyler met us there too!

The beach was packed by the time we left, glad we got there early!

Sunday afternoon Dad rented a pontoon boat for us all to go out on and it was awesome. It was pretty wavy at first but the weather settle down after a few dark clouds and was a beautiful afternoon.

We swam a little while near a sandbar then caught lots of little fishies.

Hailey & Tyler eventually fell asleep, shortly before we had to go in of course.

The kids had lots of fun on the boat and even played hide and seek for awhile, lol. Check out Mel's blog.

Hailey was pooped but was happy sitting on Papa's lap until I said "say cheese!" :P

Taylor & Hailey love their sandbox and play in it almost every day.. therefore we get baths almost every day this summer.
