Zoo Day
We had a fun day at the Milwaukee County Zoo today. Mar, Jr, Ben, Taylor, Hailey & I met Mom, Dad, Tim, Mel, Megan & Madi there. It was a hot afternoon but we still had fun.
Hailey was a trooper. Think Mel needed a baby fix :) Anytime! We'll have to get together again soon.

Time Out
Me: "Taylor, what'd you do at Julie's today."
Taylor: "I got time out."
Me: "What'd you do to get time out?"
Taylor: "Nothing."
Me: "Were you naughty?"
Taylor: "Yeah."
Me: "Why were you naughty?"
Taylor: "Because."
Me: "Did you play with Ethan today?"
Taylor: "No, I got time out."
lol. I asked her sitter what she was doing and she said Taylor and Ethan (her son) were screaming and throwing pillows at the pictures in the living room. Oh boy. Taylor gets 2 minute time outs on the couch because she's 2 and Ethan gets 8 minutes because he's 8 and should know better. Too funny.

My attempt at a french braid last night. I had to completely saturate Taylor's hair, but she still messes with it to pull it out in spots. Her sitter used some kind of sculpting spray the other day that held really well so I might get some of that.

Bubbles
Just a few pictures of Taylor playing with her bubbles this weekend. We weren't out there too long as we were getting feasted on by mosquitos!
Hailey's Echo Ultrasound Update
Hailey had another echo ultrasound on her heart last Thursday to monitor her murmur. It isn't getting bigger, but it's not really getting smaller either. The blood was flowing through it faster, so doctor thinks it's very gradually getting smaller. He said it wasn't straining her heart or lungs anyway, so that's the main thing. We go back in September for another ultrasound. As long as it keeps looking better we can avoid surgery. She still doesn't have to be on any heart medicines, so that's a good sign as well. Hailey weighed 12 lbs 4 oz and 22 3/4 in, so she grew almost an inch in 3 weeks.
I do have some pictures to post from yesterday, but my computer at home wasn't cooperating this morning.. maybe later.

The Pool
We spent part of the evening at the pool. We tried going around 2, but the parking lot was jammed packed so we tried again later. We got there around 5:15 and a ton of people left. Taylor was mastering some more skills on her floaties, and Hailey slept most of the time again. The fresh air must do that to her. Her little pink swimsuit is a little big yet but still cute!
Friendship Trail
We walked over the Trestle Bridge on the Friendship Trail last night that goes over Little Lake Buttes des Mortes/the Fox River last night for the first time. It was nice, free & fun :) In the second picture, Taylor was upset because she dropped those two leaves in the river. She wanted Ben to go get them.
Hailey like it once we were not walking into the sun. While I did have a blanket shielding the sun, it just wasn't as much fun that way.
There was a park on the Neenah side of the bridge that we all played at for awhile.
We got to watch the bridge be opened at the locks back on the Menasha side when we came back. Pretty neat.
And this last picture is of Taylor this morning. She was hiding because there was a dragon on her Dora movie :)
