Christmas Weekend

Last Thursday the kids helped me cut-out some holiday cookies and sprinkle them, and they turned out pretty yummy! (not that I got to eat any- but I heard)

We went down to my parent's for the long weekend and got to see Uncle Jon who is currently on leave from his deployment in Iraq. He goes back this Sunday the 2nd until spring/summer sometime.

The girls had fun riding on Daddy's snowmobile for the first time this year,
and they went sledding three times!

Grandma and I built this snowman on Friday after lots of hard work :)

Daddy & Uncle Jon had lots of sledding races

"Hold my hand, Uncle Jon."

Hailey & Mommy on the way back from sledding Saturday, Hailey just got a face full of snow the last sled ride down.

Tyler & Auntie Kristin on Xmas day and the girls with her on Sunday!

We even managed a nice family picture on Sunday with the help of Uncle Tom and Auntie Jackie, so nice to see everyone and we had a great weekend!

Sledding

Ben took the girls sledding on Saturday by the school near our house. They had so much fun! It was a little chilly for me just standing there taking pictures but I made it :)

Every time Hailey and Ben would get to the bottom she'd say,"Daddy that was fun, let's do it again!"

Ben got a little worn out, lol. But they kept going for quite awhile.

We spent Sunday over at Grandpa & Grandma P's for an early Xmas dinner with Auntie Shelley too, since we will be down with my side of the family this coming weekend. We exchanged a few presents and had a relaxing day.

The girls thought these snowmen Auntie Shelley gave Grandma were pretty cool!

Then Daddy took the girls out sledding in the backyard on a tiny hill. They had a blast on it though and they were so proud they could even do it all themselves!

Taylor & Daddy buried eachother in the snow and stayed out way longer than Hailey. She came in and had some hot chocolate with the girls!

Snow, Megan's Bday & 23 weeks

We're snowed in today, so figured I better update a couple blogs here. This first picture of Taylor was from last week when we had our first 1/2 inch snowfall :) She thought she better shovel.

Grandma & Grandpa P came over last Sunday after we went out for an anniversary lunch with them. Taylor was happy for Grandpa's help with her puzzles and Hailey always likes it when someone reads to her!

Taylor was singing "rock-a-bye baby" to Hailey here

Here I was at 23 weeks!

We went over to Gary & Karen's yesterday to help celebrate Megan's 6th birthday. Thanks again for a fun, relaxing day! She had a candyland cake, her mom did a great job :)

Taylor was patiently waiting to watch Megan open her presents so they could go play downstairs some more.

Megan was very excited to get an American Girl doll
Hailey was reading the booklet that came in the box with the doll.

Happy Birthday Megan!

The kids all bundled up to play in the snow. Glad they did because we got a ton last night and it's blowing everywhere so we won't be playing out there today! We're snowed in and Ben just went out to attack the driveway.

Happy 40th Anniversary Mar & Jr!

Jr & Marlene (Ben's parents) celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on December 5th. We had an anniversary shower for them on the 4th with some family and friends.

Shelley & I split duties and my parents also helped a lot, thanks again!

Gary is pictured here with them, he was the best man.

Taylor helped open the gifts :)
Goofy girls playing around the hall.
