Mrnak Reunion & Lake County Fair

We had a Mrnak family reunion (first one in a long long time) this past weekend down in IL, so it was great to see everyone and a beautiful day.

This picture is my Dad's three brothers: Steve, Tom & Ken and the one in the middle is my Uncle Joe who is actually Dad's cousin (his mom and Dad's dad were twins)

This is everyone at the reunion

The cousins: top row- Tim, Jeff, Ashlei, Kim, Dave - Bottom row: me, Lisa, Kevin & Joe. Just missing Jon & Becka

Dad's brother Tom & his two boys Dave & Joey with Dad

Uncle Joe and Aunt Suzi with their grandbaby Brynn (Lisa's youngest daughter)

The little cousins: Hailey, Tyler, Shelby, Megan, Mik, Dylan, Kaidynn, Brynn, Madi & Taylor

The kids loved playing with the ladder ball game most of the afternoon.

Tyler hanging out on Grandma

Hailey loving some lemonade

We got to go to the Lake County Fair as well and Taylor even got to ride the ferris wheel for the first time. She did great and loved it!

The goats were a big hit

This one Taylor is crouching by is Jordann's champion goat Krista - a baby from one of my old goats. Hailey loved the nubian (long ears) :)

Jordann showed the girls how the goats were milked so they posed on the milkstand.

The girls did so good with all the animals in the petting zoo.

and had some delicious chocolate ice cream to cool us off! (along with lots of other yummy fair food of course!)

Thanks Kara for coming and being such a big help with the reunion! Fun for the little cousins to meet and the brothers to catch up! Beautiful day! Fun to have you at the fair, just brings back all the memories and all the weeks we spent getting ready for the goat shows. Hope to spend some time this week at McHenry Co. Fun to see the joy in the girls eyes! Fun weekend!
