Projects & Puzzles

We took a break from colors this week to change things up a bit. Also, I had a cold and didn't really feel like finding and cutting everything out. It takes a lot of time and effort to make some of those, but we have a lot of fun.

Here was our Monday project this week. I got this idea from Stacy. I drew a star (3 lines) with glue and cut out the squares of tin foil, then the kids put them on. They did a great job and had fun with the different texture.

Tuesday's project was an egg carton catepillar. I poked the holes and drew the face, and the kids put the pipe cleaners in for the ears and colored with markers. I got this idea from this website.

Today's project was a penguin. I got out the parts and the kids glued it together. This idea was from this website, but I didn't do the footprint thing. I just cut out the penguin shape instead.
I used cardstock for the the black and orange and felt for the belly.

Here are puzzle pictures this week. They all love doing the different wood puzzles every day, even Hailey ;-)
