Deer Hunting Week & Thanksgiving

We've had a fun, busy couple of weeks with deer hunting & Thanksgiving festivities. We've spent the last 2 weekends at Ben's parents house so the guys could get up early to go hunting and us girls could entertain eachother. Last weekend was warmer, so we played at the park near their house.

The girls played on Papa's chairs after meeting Sunday :)

Here are my daycare kids and my own of course. I never have gotten a picture of them all together until this one. Plus, Taylor & Kade hugging.. they are best friends and act like brother & sister so can be enemies too :P

These girls love their books

We went to Auburndale for Thanksgiving with the Topinka family this year and it was nice to see everybody. Hailey is coloring with her Uncle Jerry here.. or maybe Jerry is coloring by himself :)

Hailey trying to trace around her hand like the big kids.

Here are some of the kids that were there. Taylor, Karena, Kylie, Megan, Madi & Hailey.. just missing Natalia & Logan in this one. They were just sitting here waiting to play a game so I snapped one quick.

Mar arranged a few games and the kids were entertained for awhile

The big kids pulling the little kids around

Scrapbooking for great Grandma & Grandpa

Hailey helping Grandma put up snowflakes decals on her windows

Not sure why this was so entertaining, but Hailey kept taking the seat out of the little rocking chair and playing in it!

Taylor playing her new princess fishing game that I got on black Friday doing the little shopping I did.

another Grandma-invented game of jumping over the ball onto the pillows :)

I baked these cookies when we got home and there seems to be something missing from some of them!

Caught red-handed! (or brown :P)
**In other news, Hailey went #2 on the toilet this morning! First time! Can't believe it, she told me "pew-pew" so I just asked her if she wanted to go on there and she said "yes" and went! She's only 18 months so wondering if this is just a fluke. We shall see!

Hailey is 18 months and Family Pics

Hailey turned 18 months old last Thursday and we had some pictures taken that night at the Picture People. Hailey really doesn't like her picture taken lately, so we were really impressed that this photographer got some really good shots! I especially love this one of the 2 girls!

Hailey had her 18 month dr appointment yesterday with 3 shots :( She shot up 2 inches in 3 months though so no wonder it seemed like she skipped over a size of clothing! Our little girls are growing up too fast. I found myself looking at pictures of Taylor when she was 18 months like this one:

Here were the girls the other night playing their Leapsters together. Well, looks more like Hailey's chewing on her's in this picture! They are inseparable, that's for sure. They really miss eachother if they are apart for any amount of time!

Indian Summer and Swimming!

Since Ben was hunting last night and today, us girls took a short trip to Grandpa & Grandma P's house. We had lots of fun there... fish fry, storytime, shopping, playing outside in on a warm Fall day, a trip to Auntie Shelley's, and even some swimming! (indoors of course)

Grandma reading to Taylor- think she may have made her read half her library :)

Hailey & Grandpa playing

Hailey "sleeping" in her Dora tent

Miss Photogenic (in an outfit from her cousin Casey, she is very proud of her clothes from her.. thanks again!)

Playing tennis in the front yard - gotta love that face!

Hailey did NOT want her picture taken! Every time I took the camera out she'd be so happy and then all of a sudden "NNNNNOOOO!!!" So, these were the best I could get, she's still cute I think :)

Thanks for the fun day!

Halloween Weekend

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! My parents came up Friday night and Tim & Mel & kids came over too for some games and supper. It was lots of fun, wish we lived closer and could do it more often! Grandpa & Grandma went trick-or-treating with us girls while Ben was hunting Saturday afternoon. We weren't out for too long and just did one long street, but we still had a blast. Taylor checked out every piece of candy that she got and when you ask if you can have a piece she says, "Yes, but take it out of Hailey's bucket." lol, she has shared since though.
Taylor was going to be a Barbie fairy of some kind but she decided to be Tinkerbell again at the last minute. At first, she was shy and mumbled "trick-or-treat" under her breath, but as we went on she was yelling it and said,"Happy Halloween" to everyone too!

and Hailey the Lion didn't want her picture taken.

Grandpa raked some leaves and played with the girls a bit outside, but it was pretty chilly so they didn't stay out too long.

Enjoying cookies with Papa Saturday night.

and painting pumpkins Grandma picked up at Michaels earlier. Taylor wanted to paint her's all purple :)

Another weekend here and gone and now it's November already! Sheesh, soon I'll be posting Thanksgiving pics!
