Reading... and playing... and avoiding naps...

Three bookworms... Taylor, Hailey and Auntie Shelley. Shelley & Keith spent the day with us, and Grandpa & Grandma P came for lunch and part of the afternoon too. We had fun, although Hailey still was not her usual happy self. She has battled a fever this weekend. Started Friday night before bed with 100.7, then Saturday her highest was 101.7, today her highest was 102.6... but tonight she's back down to 98.3. It went down every time in between those temps too. Poor girl, she is cutting teeth I believe, but I'm watching her very carefully to make sure she doesn't have an infection also. She's been gnawing on anything and everything she can find though, so I'm pretty sure it's teeth - or maybe both. If her temp is back up tomorrow I'm calling the dr.

Shelley brought Taylor and Hailey these matching outfits, very adorable! Taylor had to wear it right away of course. She loves it!

Hailey wanted Mom all day, these were the few seconds she wasn't gripped to my side with all her will. She wasn't spinning on this toy, but the lights and music were distracting her from crying for a minute or so after she accidentally dropped a toy on her forehead! Here's hoping she's feeling better tomorrow!
**Oh yes, how could I forget this. We were walking down the basement steps to play in our make-shift playroom down there this afternoon and Taylor slips on the top step! THANKFULLY, I was standing right next to her and would never let her go down those steps alone because I BARELY was able to grab her arm before she would've gone tumbling all the way down the wood steps to the concrete below. My heart jumped about a mile out of my chest. PHEW!
