Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my Uncle Ron & Aunt Mary's house. It was great to see all of their family and most of ours!

Hailey thought their stairs were pretty cool.

The tables

A lot of the food on Dad's plate.. oh so yummy!

and delicious pies as well!

Mom was teaching the girls to crochet hats and flowers.. and I got to snuggle Makenzie for a little while since the daddies all went shopping.

the kids even had fun projects to do!

Auntie Mary played the piano while the kids sang, then Tyler & Hailey played a bit too :)

We had a fun play day at Tim & Mel's on Friday, check out her blog for pictures. I don't have many pics at Mom & Dad's from the rest of the weekend because I was sick :( But, these couple are from Grandma's camera.. Taylor is a goofball. yes. So thankful for my parents for pretty much watching the girls the rest of the weekend so I could recover. We even got to check out the Mattel toy store just down the road a few miles. Pretty neat.
Taylor got sick Monday morning but still was a happy girl in between, and Hailey even let me take her picture for a change! Hoping the sick bug leaves our house soon and for good this time! No fun.

Deer Hunting Weekend

We went to Grandpa & Grandma P's for deer hunting weekend. Us girls checked out New London pool on Saturday and had lots of fun as usual!

then the girls had a nice bubble bath in Grandma's big tub and a bubble bath tea party even!

The girls were anxious to get to their sticker books Sunday morning from Auntie Mel.

Grandpa got an 8 point buck on Saturday morning

Taylor was watching the guys cut up the deer for awhile in the garage, sitting on Grandpa's tractor.

and she was even brave enough to hold the antlers.

Potty Trained!

Last Thursday I decided to try potty training Hailey. We haven't given it much thought or effort before.. just sat on the potty once in a blue moon never getting anywhere. Thursday I put undies on Hailey and told her not to go potty in them, to let me know when she needed to go. She had one accident a couple hours later, then she went on the potty in the afternoon.. and another start of an accident before catching herself that evening. She had one #2 accident on Friday and the start of an accident on the way home from the store on Saturday morning. That is it. She has been dry every night and gone #1 and #2 on the potty all the rest of the time since! I think it's safe to say she's potty trained! Can't believe what an awesome potty training champ she is! Guess she was ready! (knocking on wood here, don't want to jinx anything) Yes, I am not ashamed to say I used bribery. I bought her a toy she wanted for awhile now and hid it in the closet a few weeks ago and she asked for it the first time she went! Then I had a few other little toys for her once a day for the weekend. Now, she's just so proud and we do a little potty dance every time she goes :)

All of these pictures are from a couple weeks ago, forgot to post them. Everything else is going good here. Baby boy is kicking all the time now and Ben's finally felt him kick. The girls giggle too much while they try to feel him so haven't gotten to just yet. They are such cute big sisters though, constantly hugging, kissing, and blowing raspberries on my belly! I think I go into the dr next on December 8th or something like that. We're getting excited to go down to see my side of the family for Thanksgiving! I am craving Thanksgiving food big time. Hope everyone else is doing well!

Halloween & Misc

My camera has been acting funny and was a cheapy one so we've been shopping for a new one. Ben & I FINALLY agreed on one so here are some new pictures! Taylor was the first portrait.

and sleeping Hailey this afternoon

and there's Cooper.. he hasn't had his picture taken in awhile.

We took the girls trick-or-treating this afternoon, and they had lots of fun!

Taylor was a golden fairy and/or butterfly (depends on when you asked her) and Hailey was Minnie Mouse (didn't want to wear the ears).

In other news, I have been stressed out and hormonal. I'm trying not to be, but it's just the way it is lately. This baby is super lazy and gets me worried for days when I can't feel it move/kick then reassures me.. then worries me again. It's still early, but I can't be too reassured until the ultrasound Nov 9th. I am feeling well sickwise though. It helps when I can sleep at night. Everything else is going well over here. We've been enjoying the cool weather, but I'd rather it wouldn't snow just yet.
*I'll try to post a picture of me & the little one on Wednesday for you all to take a gender guess if you want! I'll be 18 weeks and next Tuesday is my ultrasound at almost 19 weeks.

I hate the flu!

We have had the flu this week... and we are so sick of it! It hit us all pretty hard, and now we are on the mend for the most part but have very little energy yet. It stinks, hopefully this is our time to be sick this year and that is it! (fingers crossed, knock on wood!) I have appreciated chicken noodle soup and ramen noodles this week but if I don't buy them again for another year that is ok with me! Gets old when that's just about all you can stomache for 3 days.. if that.
The only thing lingering is messy diapers and when that's done I promise I'll stop complaining!

Yes, I fed my kids popsicles for dinner one night. They wouldn't eat anything all day and these were dr recommended :) Brought out their silly sides even when they were feeling down.

Poor little Hailey has had it the longest, not the worst.. but the longest. She almost makes me cry just looking at this picture.

I am craving all kinds of food now so I went grocery shopping, though I can't stomach it all just yet. The first solid food I ate yesterday made the baby jump around my tummy like a little acrobat, somebody was happy I started eating solids again! We've saved a lot of money on eating out and our grocery bill this week, at least that's a plus!
*
P.S. 3 weeks and 3 days until we find out what we're having, and we're pretty sure there's only one in there. I've felt around my tummy a lot and pretty sure I can only feel one baby. November 9th, you can come anytime now.
