Thanksgiving

We had a fun Thanksgiving day at Uncle Ron & Auntie Mary Ann's house yesterday.

Taylor & Casey playing a cute game Shelley brought that had fake plastic eggs they tried to pass and had a fake egg in the middle that broke open if they dropped it. The girls had fun with it!

Jody & Tom, Shelley, Katie & Brendon

Great Grandma Wilson, her 7 great grand daughters and 1 great grand son.
Brenna (4 in Jan), Bennett (1 today HAPPY BIRTHDAY!), Chloe (5), Casey (3.5), Hailey (6 mo), Megan (4 in Dec), Madi (3 in Mar) & Taylor (2.5)

Great Grandma & Hailey

Hailey did great, considering she's recently become a Momma's girl and was passed around all day.

The Thanksgiving table (and kids table) thanks to Jillayne! Glad we could all get together, doesn't happen nearly often enough! Thanks to everyone for the fun day.

Warning, picture heavy post...

We had a fun deer hunting widows weekend or whatever you want to call it!

Making hootinanny (German pancake) and playing playdoh with Grandma Saturday morning.

Jennifer & Marshall, Jeanine & Shelley came over too, who knew my lil ponies magnetized to the frig!

Finger painting for the first time! What a mess but lots of fun and washable!

Hailey watched and played with other toys :)

Hailey fell asleep in Auntie Shelley's arms at the pool, while Taylor had to "do it all herself" and swim... and swim... and swim some more.

Hailey & Daddy Sunday morning.

Grandpa & Grandma & girls, thanks for the fun weekend!

6 months

We're doing a lot of these 2 things at our house lately: teething and sleeping. Unfortunately the sleeping part hasn't been mostly at night.

Hailey had her 6 month checkup today including 3 shots and an oral vaccine :( She's doing ok though, she's a trooper. She weighed in at 15 lbs 11 oz and 26 inches, in the 50 percentile all around.

Misc.

• We went and saw Justin, Heather & Natalia in the hospital after meeting and what a little doll! You don't remember exactly just how tiny they are until you see a newborn again. She is a little honey. Glad to hear everything went smoothly and both Mommy & baby are recovering well from birth. When we got in the parking lot of the hospital Taylor says,"Mommy, help me call Natalia so we can find her. "TALIA, TALIA!"
• I've come to realize that this upper back/neck pain I get every now and then is definately stress related. Need to learn how to not let things get to me. I try to say that they don't but they obviously do, mostly work related.
• Taylor has a new thing lately that whenever someone is laughing for whatever reason, she has to be in on the joke. She'll say to whoever is laughing,"____(insert name here)__, what are you doing?" then laugh herself until you tell her what's so funny.
• Hailey has also been laughing this week all the time. She just laughs for no obvious reason at all. Sometimes at Daddy, Mommy or Taylor and sometimes just at a toy across the room. It's definately cute.
• Thinking about Thanksgiving coming up next week. I picked up my ingredients today to make broccoli casserole. Can't wait to see all the little cousins and everyone else!
• Ben starts a new job tomorrow. He has been 1/2 way looking for one for awhile now since his boss never likes to pay them on time and work looks slow this winter. Well, he got a call last week 2 minutes after he emailed the guy his resume. He interviewed with him the next day and here we are! So, he'll be working in the electrical field again and is pretty excited about it. Ironically, this week is the first time his boss has caught up on his paychecks in a long time.
• I guess that's it for now. So, I'll go fold the 5 loads of laundry I washed yesterday. Woo hoo!

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Justin, Heather & Logan! Proudly welcoming baby sister Natalia Noelle this afternoon! She's 7 lbs and 20 1/2 in :) Can't wait to meet her!

Good Luck Heather!

Thinking about you going in for your c-section tomorrow. Good luck to you all and I'm sure you're anxiously waiting to hold your little girl :) We'll be thinking about you guys, hope everything goes smoothly and according to plan!

Since I'm posting anyway, here are the matching girls for meeting last night in their cute outfits from Auntie Shelley.

Six Months

Hailey is six months old today, believe it or not!

She's 15 lbs 14 oz

Not sure the length, but I'll let you know next week

at her regular 6 month checkup and shots :(

Gotta love this shirt.

Happy girls for 6 am.
