Hailey's First Field Trip - Firestation

I got to go along on Hailey's field trip this morning to the fire station

 

The fireman read a book about fire safety

we got to hear about all the parts of a fire truck and equipment on it

the kids got to walk through it

The smallest and biggest 4Kers in her class, lol

 

This fireman was explaining all the equipment they have to wear on a call, he explained it like kids putting gear on to go out in the snow or divers in the water.  He was very good with the kids so they wouldn't get scared of him.

All of this weighs an extra 85 lbs

the firetruck's lights were on.  "Pierce"
