7 Weeks & update on us

We met Bill & Shanda Lester & Kylie & Karena, Sharon & Larry Carlson & Shannon, Terry & Kara Carlson & kids, Auntie Shelley & Grandma & Grandpa P at Golden Corral in Oshkosh on Sunday afternoon since they were all in town for Shannon's graduation.. congratulations again! It was so  nice to see them all, don't often enough!

Kade & Taylor can get this swing moving, had to tell them to slow down before they flip the set over :)  Everyone's still loving the playground, it's been so nice outside the past several days too so that helps!  Not today though, overcast and sprinkling. Guess we need to water the flowers and grass so one day of that is ok. It can stop after today though :P

Aiden will be 7 weeks old tomorrow!  I barely missed this smile, dumb flash took too long! Looks like Daddy here for sure!  Especially his baby pictures.  So cute.

Ok Mom, I'm done with pictures this morning.. stop trying to make me smile again.

The girls are pretty proud of their morning glories that are really starting to pop up!

Here's what else has been going on this week:

*Hailey decided to finally start singing grace with us.  She always says she's too little to sing yet. Last night I asked her what grace to sing and she said "All things living" then said she'd sing it very softly. So, I started then after the first line could hear her soft little voice.. then about halfway through she started singing pretty loudly. I couldn't believe it and got so thrown off that I even sang "still" instead of "shall" in the second to last line! LOL.  (this is kind of an inside joke, guess some of you know what I mean :P)

*The girls love helping me sing lullabies to Aiden to get him to fall asleep and he loves it!  I swear he falls asleep faster when they help me, must like their sweet little voices better than mine. :)

*Hailey has always been one of those kids that likes to hold onto your hair when snuggling. So, the other morning when she woke up Aiden and I were sitting on the couch snuggling and she came out and climbed on the other side of my lap.  She all of a sudden spotted Aiden holding a piece of my hair and busted out,"No, no, no, Aiden James! Mommy's hair is only for little girls to hold. Not for babies!"  LOL

*Taylor loves to hold her brother. She says,"He loves his big sisters," and he really does.

*Ben started playing in a men's softball league and his first game was supposed to be last Thursday, but it was cancelled because of storms. So, now his first game will be this Thursday night at 6:30 at Jefferson Park.  As long as the weather is decent, we'll be hanging out there for awhile. Taylor is especially excited to see Daddy play baseball!

*Speaking of Daddy's girls, they are really becoming Daddy's girls. Makes me melt to see Hailey actually let Daddy snuggle her to sleep at night and so bittersweet when they cry during the day because Daddy won't be home for several more hours.

*Aiden is sleeping so much better at night lately. He still wakes up a few times but goes right back to sleep. He's also doing so much better getting set down during the day for longer periods of time. Really helps me to get some stuff done during the day which is great.

*I started doing some ab exercises and ouch! They really are still under there because they are sore today! lol.  That's all for now. Planning the girls birthday party for this Saturday so we are all excited for that. Hoping the weather holds up for us!
