Apple Picking, Pumpkin Painting & Twin Lakes

We went down to Grandpa & Grandma's in Twin Lakes this weekend to help my mom celebrate her birthday. We went to Gurnee Mills, spent a little time with some old friends, went apple picking, painted some pumpkins and had a great time!

Megan & Taylor with their apples, taste-testing of course.

Neither of these girls spent more than a couple minutes in the wagon before they were off apple hunting and Tyler sat in there.

Grandma looks like a kangaroo, hehe

Get that one, Grandma!!

Hailey likes apples but needs more teeth :)

We stopped by to get some doughnuts and a picture on the pumpkins we weren't supposed to be sitting on.

Painting pumpkins Saturday night.

Eating some cupcakes and singing Happy Birthday to Grandma!

Why do weekends go so fast? What a fun time we had, apple picking was a venture in itself. Fun for the cousins to be together. Thanks for making my birthday special.(gifts, cupcakes and fish fry) even a try at some fall pictures. Come back soon!
