First Week of July

As you can imagine, July has already been very busy and full of fun!

We celebrated Ben's 27th birthday!

Taylor insisted we make Daddy a cake and she drew a picture of a fish that we needed to put on it :)

We ate supper and played at Tim & Mel's, Aiden was trying to break Jax out - he heard that he was being mistreated over there.... LOL, jk :P

The guys had some fireworks they were shooting off and Hailey wasn't too sure about them, she liked them but didn't want to get too close again. They were going to have a sleepover so she was already in her PJ's

the 4th of July, we went over to spend time with Mel and the kids while they played on the slip and slide and in the pool

The kids were pretending they were at the beach and making sand castles and a big mess :P

then we had a picnic at Riverside Park and watched the ski show - it was way too hot! So, we went home after and spent as much time as we could in the air conditioning! Not sure exactly how hot it got but somewhere upwards of 105-110 and ridiculous humidity.

Friday night we had a pool party at Jerry & Lorna's

and that is our July so far!

Now, the reason I don't update my blog very often is because I figured people are seeing pictures on facebook since I don't get very many comments on here. If you want me to keep updating the blog more often, please comment when you read them and then I'll know to keep updating :)  Under the blog post it'll say "0 comments" or a certain #. June

June has gone by in a flash but here are some pictures to sum it up! We've been keeping busy.. playing outside, going to the farmer's market, playing with our cousins and friends, celebrating birthdays and enjoying time with family!

The girls had these curlers in overnight one time again, Taylor did not like the tight curls she had in the morning!

Happy Father's Day! We met at Riverside Park for a picnic and cookie cake!

We went to the New Zoo in Green Bay

My parents took a little field trip to the nature center one day when I only had a couple extra daycare kids

We celebrated Grandpa M's birthday

and we got to meet a friend's new baby, Camden! Aiden loved giving him kisses and Taylor can't wait to hold him again.. me either!

Hailey talked all about him after we got home but wasn't too sure about getting too close when we were there.

Taylor's Birthday Weekend

Taylor turned 6 this past weekend and since we already celebrated with family a few weeks earlier, we had invited a lot of her school friends to celebrate with us at the Best Western Bridgewood Resort in Neenah. We had never been there but had seen pictures and we were very happy with the place!

Daddy was on Aiden duty and they had lots of fun playing in the kiddie pool and on the slide

Grandma M came over Saturday morning to make the cake, she did a great job and it was yummy.

We stayed at the hotel and got a beautiful room. All of the presents were on this cart, but Aiden thought he'd clear it to play on..yikes

and we had lots more time to play in the pool area as a family

Hailey's Birthday and the rest of May

We had a busy rest of May, including Hailey's birthday and a family birthday party to celebrate Hailey & Taylor's birthdays together!

Hailey turned 4 and she is so happy to be another year older, me however, I can't believe yet again how fast the time flies by and wish the kids would stay little longer!

The kids and I walked friendship trail one afternoon when Ben had to work

and we checked out the new park on the other end of the trail, very fun.

Ben took the last week of May off to go fishing with his Dad, something they've never done and they enjoyed themselves.

The kids have really been enjoying going for bike rides in the evening and on weekends when it's not too hot.

We helped celebrate Grandpa & Grandma Topinka's 63rd wedding anniversary on Sunday afternoon

The kids and I went and played at Jefferson Park one Thursday night when Ben had softball there, but it was so windy! Still fun.

and we had a picnic on Sunday afternoon at Grandma & Grandpa Mrnak's

We missed camping this year over Memorial Day weekend but we enjoyed watching the parade downtown and checking out the area a little bit
