Brewers, Packers, Bears.. oh my!

Yes, I realize that title is corny.. lol.  But, that's the case with this post I guess... a little Brewers, (or a lot in Aiden's wardrobe) Packers, and Bears represented here.

Aiden has been sucking on his thumb lately here and there.. or sometimes whatever finger he gets in his mouth at that moment.  So, we tried one of his pacifiers again that he's refused forever and he liked it... for a few minutes anyway! Pretty darn cute I must say. He got a couple of these Brewer pacifiers as a gift when he was born!

Aiden had a friend over the other day :) I watched Ben's boss's son for him one day. He's 3 months old and pretty cute... an angel too!  Note.. Aiden will be wearing this Packers jersey often since there's no way it'll fit all season.

We enjoyed some nice weather this week.. until the afternoons when  it gets kinda hot again. (Aiden's orange and blue outfit from Grandma & Grandpa M- since Grandma knows Aiden's daddy will not let him wear Bears attire, she snuck in an orange and blue outfit instead :P)

Hailey looked at the back of Aiden's head the other day and said,"Oh Mommy, look. Aiden has a whirlpool on the back of his head!"

Grandma & Grandpa visit

My parents came up for the weekend and got in lots of play time :)

We got Taylor's school supply shopping done and went to Chuck E. Cheese's!

The kids had a blast

and so did the adults :)

This is the new rug I got at Lowe's on clearance for $30! Aiden loves the colors and texture.

Another weekend gone... only 2.5 weeks until school starts! yikes!

Aiden's First Cereal

Sitting in his high chair for the first time, wondering why he has to wear this thing around his neck :)

LOL, this is different Mom.

Aiden did pretty good with his first cereal!  He spit some out of course but who wouldn't the first time every eating anything?  I didn't give him very much.  We'll try again tomorrow, don't need to push it!  Then, in a few days he gets to try some peas or pears.. not sure which one first yet!

Winnebago County Fair

Aiden is growing up so fast, he is grabbing everything and wants to be in the middle of whatever is going on now!

We headed to the Winnebago County Fair this weekend to see the animals, eat some good food, and ride some rides of course :)

Taylor said this was scary at first then it was fun :)

She played a couple games and won some prizes for her sister

We all went on the ferris wheel

and had to hit up the carousel of course

They had a cool wildlife petting zoo with kangaroos, zebras, tigers, monkeys, camels, deer, goats, and a baby monkey and baby tiger.

Taylor's first camel ride, she did awesome :)

Aiden's new thing is to stick out his tongue while he's doing stuff.. think he learned this from his cousin Tyler :)

Hailey was putting on a show yesterday.. a little singing and dancing :)

4 Months Old and Last Swimming Lessons

Can you believe Aiden is 4 months old already?  He is teething something fierce but no teeth have popped through quite yet that I can see.  Aiden had his 4 month checkup yesterday and shots. He weighed in at 15 lbs and 25 1/2 inches, 50% for both.  Dr was impressed with his rolling both ways, jabbering, and half army crawling.  He is growing up in fast forward!

Grandpa brought his boat over last Saturday to go fishing with Ben. The girls played on the boat awhile :)

Taylor and Hailey had their last swimming lesson on Saturday, which was a "fun day".  They played on the slides and diving board.  Here's Hailey coming down the slide with her teacher Miss Annie.

We went back for a quick dip as a family later and this little guy loves watching his feet kick in the water!
