Taylor's Birthday

We celebrated Taylor's birthday on the 2nd with the daycare kids and our little family with some cake and ice cream. Here's the big 5 year old!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a fantastic holiday weekend camping with my family in Spring Grove, IL (my hometown).

The weather was a little interesting with a freezing cold night, a cool day, a rainy day and a beastly hot day!

But, we still had tons of fun of course.  We got lots of fishing in, a little walking, biking, campfiring,

cooking, blowing bubbles, sparklers, coloring and playing games!

It was rainy Sunday but the kids still had lots of fun and went through lots of clothes!

Taylor is 5 years old today!

Birthday Party Weekend

We celebrated the girls birthdays together this weekend with some close family and friends. It was a fun time even though we got rained out of the park and had to stay home! 

Grandma and Hailey put together the delicious rainbow My Little Pony cake

and these cupcakes were yummy too

The girls danced around in the rain while they waited for their guests to arrive

and Taylor blew out the candles because Hailey was too shy :)

Park and Dandelions

We went to the park last night to watch Daddy play baseball, but it was too hot and boring over there for the kids so we spent most of the time at the park and by the lake. Hailey is getting pretty brave on all the playground equipment now that she's 3 :)

This is one of those pelican things, Taylor says,"But they're supposed to live at the beach!" I've never seen them around here before this year.

A beautiful evening at the park, we may just have to go back again tonight!
