Healing & Playing in the Leaves!

Here's the kooky girl we all know and love :) You can hardly tell this is the same swollen face that I posted yesterday!


The kids had lots of fun this morning raking a few leaves to fill up leaf pumpkin bags.

Window Clings & Owies!

Grandma P brought the girls some Halloween window clings the other day so Mommy decided to finally clean off the windows so we could put them up :) They were very excited!

Taylor's mouth and Hailey's foreheaded collided in the hallway last night. Taylor ended up with a very swollen, bloody mouth. But, after some ice, arnica, a couple hours and a new Barbie it looked much better before bedtime!

you can barely see Hailey's toothmark in her forehead but it looks a little worse this morning. Nothing major. She looks pretty tough though :P

Our little fire chiefs!

We went to the open house at Pierce on Saturday (Granpa P works there) and the girls had lots of fun! This top picture is them in their fire hats at home later on. We got to see how the trucks were built, get some goodies, and even ride on an old fire truck!

But it was still lots of fun and the girls are excited to go back again next year!

Apple picking & hula hooping!

I have been so lazy with the camera this month! I'm sorry! Check out my mom's blog for more pictures of apple picking here. We went down to my parents and to help the movers last weekend, we even snuck in some apple picking and cider and doughnut sampling on Saturday morning. Yummy!

Speaking of the little girl, she has been trying not to nap anymore but usually falls asleep late afternoon wherever she may be at the time... in her sister's bed playing her leapster while Taylor & I were putting together a shelf...

or eating a snack at the kitchen table!

Tomorrow I am 13 weeks and starting my second trimester! Woo hoo!! I have been feeling better but get ahead of myself. I wake up hungry then feel like I can take on the world, then I usually wear myself out by trying to finish complete projects in one day. Oh well, I'll figure out eventually that I need to take it easy.

Labor Day Weekend Camping Trip

We had a fantastic weekend camping with Papa & Grandma M, Uncle Tim & Auntie Mel, Megan, Madi & Tyler at Bong State Park in southeastern WI. The weather was perfect for camping (60s mostly) and everyone was healthy! Yay! :) The "lazy" days seemed to exhaust us all anyway somehow and now we need a vacation day to recooperate. LOL :P


The guys enjoyed fishing the little lake there although it was pretty windy most of the time.

We played at this park quite a bit right next to the lake where the guys fished. Taylor loved the climbing wall and is our little monkey for sure. Hailey was playing with a dandelion in the picture above.

The girls were pooped on the way home but Hailey's the only one who napped. Taylor was happy to hold her hand while she slept :)
