Sledding & Gingerbread Man

We went sledding yesterday with Gpa P while Gma took pictures :o) The girls had lots of fun, after Hailey got over the initial fright of it all. She did good, didn't cry or anything just was a little scared at the top of the hill. It wasn't a very big hill but fun anyway! We went out in the morning and again in the afternoon so I'm a little sore today from climbing the hill. It was worth it.

After our first sledding session, we came home and made gingerbread men with Gma while the boys worked on Ben's snowmobile.

Hailey walks around with this blanket on her head all the time. She does it herself and thinks it's pretty neat. Taylor had to wrap in a blanket too when I took Hailey's pic the other day, but her's fell down before the pic.

These girls love to play polly pockets together but aren't allowed to have them out while the babies are here. They were enjoying having them sprawled around the living room after the kids left. I love Hailey's pose and her feet, too funny for the little girl.

Grandma P came over on Saturday and helped the girls watercolor paint and play with some new heart stickers :)

The girls love helping in the kitchen all the time now. This was them helping make scrambled eggs! Nice face, Hailey! Did Uncle Jon teach you how to make goofy faces too or did you learn from your sister?

Happy New Year 2010

We had an awesome weekend at Tim & Mel's and rang in the new year with them and Mom & Dad. I didn't take too many pictures but here are a few! The girls helped make cut-out cookies while we were there and had lots of fun frosting and eating them :)

Xmas Week & Weekend

We had a pre-xmas dinner last Sunday (the 20th) with Grandpa & Grandma P and Auntie Shelley and opened a few presents :)

Taylor liked her curly hair this day, she had braids the night before and thought it was cool. These funny girls were rolling around.

We had a great long weekend at Grandma & Grandpa M's house and enjoyed time with family! Taylor helped Grandma make cookies (or powder them anyway) and made a big mess. She had fun anyway!

One last picture before saying goodbye to Jon & Kristin for awhile, they are on their way back to Georgia. It was a fun weekend and nice getting to spend some time with them! Not sure what Hailey's smirk was all about but it is too funny.

Xmas Pics

Congratulations to my brother Jon & Kristin! They got married last week in Georgia and plan a destination wedding after his next deployment. We've enjoyed getting to know her this weekend and are so glad she is a part of our family!



We've been down at Grandpa & Grandma M's house the past few days and had some more family over on Xmas Day. We tried for a family pic and grandkids pic, and I think they turned out pretty well.

Grandparents & Daycare Kids

What's new this past week... we had Ben's work xmas dinner Friday night at a supper club outside of Chilton and they had pretty good steak and lobster! The guys all got gas cards for bonuses this year so that was awesome! Man, it takes forever to drive to Chilton and it's not that many miles away.. they need a bigger highway in that direction but maybe not many people want to drive there often enough :P Thanks again Grandma & Grandpa P for babysitting for us.

We drove down to Mom & Dad's Saturday morning and went to Megan's 5th birthday party in the afternoon, which was fun! Happy Birthday Megan!
After a nice meeting at Bob's and a yummy Turkey dinner and a game, we headed home again.

Finger Painting & Playing

We did some finger painting today and made xmas trees with our handprints. We used a paintbrush to paint on the stump and a star cookie cutter dipped in paint for the top. Also, just used our fingertips to put red ornaments on the trees. The kids also made their own masterpieces and had lots of fun!

Taylor said to me this morning,"Mom, we're not going outside today so can I wear shorts like a soccer player?" lol. Goofball.

These are the 2 littlest I watch and they are really starting to play well together! Hailey especially loves them both so much! And now even more that they are starting to play with her :)
